FITSNews - January 25, 2007 - It’s official. U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter of the California 52nd is running for president.
Also official: California has a whole lot of Congressional districts.
Anyway, we were all set to poke some fun at Hunter’s long shot candidacy until we read that he is a former Army Ranger. You know, like John Miller from Saving Private Ryan. Those guys kick some serious ass, people. So yeah, for now it looks like Duncan Hunter has defilade on our forward firing positions.

I had the opportunity to hear Duncan Hunter yesterday at Charleston School of Law and came away impressed. He answered questions, directly, for 90 min. He often told people what they didn’t want to hear. His priorities are to level the playing field in trade with China (which includes overhauling our tax code), securing our borders, and using market forces to solve our medical care problems. Give him a chance!
