Fox Guarding Hen House (Two Words)
SC HOTLINE BUSTS OPEN CONTROVERSY ON SC ASSESSMENT TESTS
FITSNews - February 22, 2007 - The SC Hotline has a wonderful investigative story today by reporter Andrew Citizen on a brewing controversy regarding the totally worthless Palmetto Achievement Challenge Test (PACT).
The most interesting part of this story has nothing to do with the story, ironically. It’s the last quote, where (Heaven forbid) someone dared to question the motives of new Superintendent Jim Rex. Who was that someone? Only the Executive Director of the S.C. Education Oversight Committee. Looks like there’s trouble in Bureaucratville, people.
Anyway, our only problem with Mr. Citizen’s coverage is that he should have said “fox guarding the Hen House,” not “Henhouse.” Like “State House,” “Hen House” is two words, not one. Other than that, Andrew is clearly a Lebowski achiever (see below).

The system is broken. And humpty dumpty can’t put it back together again…as there are too many people drawing salaries, prestige and power out of the present system.
We had a small prayer of a chance with the hope of Karen Floyd. We don’t have a hope in hell with Jim Rex.
God bless dem little chilren.
