FITSNews - March 22, 2007 - On the strength of his rousing rendition of their hit song “C.R.E.A.M. (Cash Rules Everything Around Me),” the Wu-Tang Clan is considering adding S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford as a replacement for deceased rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard (a.k.a. Dirt McGirt, Big Baby Jesus, Osiris).
“From day one this governor has stood up to the status quo when it comes to keeping South Carolina home to his and Jenny’s four little boys,” said Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah. “Ultimately, at the end of the day, I would simply say that’s what encouraged us to have the governor step into the Wu.”
“Reunited, jobs and growth, state excited,” Gov. Sanford said. “Strike a match to the Monitor Report, clustering ignited.”
Sanford’s hip-hop stylings are legendary around the South Carolina State House, and his tricked out Ford Crown Victoria is a favorite among SLED agents assigned to his protective detail.
