MONITORING THE LATEST MOVES IN BASEBALL AND POLITICS WITH THE ACCURACY OF LASER-GUIDED ORDINANCE

FITSNews - May 12, 2007 - While The Greenville News was busy this morning picking up the pieces from the recent smart bomb we dropped on the South Carolina Supreme Court race, we spent our morning recklessly mortgaging the future of our fantasy baseball squad on Florida Marlins’ third baseman Miguel Cabrera, whose power is so great it can actually levitate a bat.

All we can say is Cabrera sure as heckfire better have a magic bat after we traded “King” Felix Hernandez, “Bossman Junior” Upton and Scott “Keep It” Rolen (Rollin’ Rollin’) in order to acquire him. Anybody remember that scene on the bridge over the Merderet River at the end of Saving Private Ryan? The one where Capt. James Miller tells Private Ryan to “earn it?” Yeah. That’s you, Cabrera.

Of course nobody really cares about our fantasy baseball trades, not when all the buzz in Palmetto political circles this week has focused on whether House Republicans want a trade in the Mayor of Importantville’s office - i.e. “trading” LCI Chairman Harry Cato for current Speaker Bobby Harrell.

One group of legislators close to FITSNews says Cato thinks Harrell is ripe for the picking and is running against him the first chance he gets. Another group of legislators close to FITSNews maintains that Cato is biding his time for 2010, when it is widely presumed Harrell will seek the Governor’s Office. Still another group of legislators close to FITSNews are actually figments of Sic Willie’s overactive imagination, and may or may not include some of his stuffed animal friends.

Our last post works almost as well here, so it’s reprinted (so to speak) below. The weak jokes are even worse in his latest, and he’s back to his anonymous contacts in the Legislature.

So sad. No life. No clients. No sources. No advertisements on the blog. No credibility. No steady cash flow. No girlfriends since his CDV conviction. No respect from honest people. No attention from the governor who fired him. Nothing but time on his hands to waste away with this the worlds worst blog.

One never knows what new nonsense sic(k) willie will make up next. We know one thing though. The monsters under his bed will eat all of his dust bunnies before he ever has any credibility among honest politicians. And there really are lots of honest politicians around.

Reprint from his last:
There he goes again! Claiming to have predicted something that so many have known for so long. SC revenue is up! What a news scoop. Not!

sic(k) willie is a legend in his own mind. And more than a little racist too judging by some of his comments along the blogway.

The worst part of this post is the pathetic “sexiest man alive” joke. It’s weaker than his resume! Being fired by the governor takes some of the shine off of his resume when readers get to the part about his “has been” status as spokesperson.

But we need to stay on track here.

We here at believeitnot.news are still impatiently waiting for sic(k) willie to provide the details he promised on the slimy rumor he started claiming a midlands elected official has a “str@m problem.” This is all about credibility will. Either you have it or not. Drive by rumormongering is slimy.

Personal note to will: Hope to see you at the race! Are you in the infield this year?

Debunking the worlds worst blog. One post at a time.

We only seek to learn and develop knowledge.

Let me see if I get this…Will writes a story, what, 9 days ago calling into question the judicial selection process. Now, it turns out he was as correct an anybody can reasonably ascertain (I didn’t hear Rep. Cato denying the story in the Greenville News thingy…). So, Will used anonymous sources, and the GN used, among other things this Bertram guy. Not sure if he is a fry cook or not, (but I understand his grammar and syntax need some work.) I’m still at a loss for how that makes Willl’s story less accurate than the GN story.

Oh, I forgot, Will is a bum. Yes, I see now how that makes a difference in terms of what Republicans are sacrificing philosophical principles in the name of personal advancement.

Maybe B-I-N could take some time away from his cutting and pasting (yeah, debunking worst blog, etc. etc….we get it) and check in on the actual subject matter.

Ah, Folks, you sly b@st@rd…

The Felixer of Life throws 100+ innings over his career high in 2006, and in early 07…he goes down with a bad elbow? Who knew? (Plus, I heard he has been asking Larry Rothschild for help on his rehab…). Looks like you dumped him at the perfect time.

Upton has 38 Ks in 100 ABs. Dude, Cecil Fielder would be embarrassed by that. Hell, YOU would be embarrassed by that.

And Rolen, is — let’s be honest — a bum. I think he got a hit last night to bring his May total to, ummmmm, one. My sister hit .204 against NL Central a couple of years ago, and she’s, well, you know, she’s a girl.

Mortgaging your future, my (Bartolo) colon. Sounds like you stole something from somebody who might read your blog, and are just trying to play it down…maybe even setting him up for another grand theft experiment just before the trade deadline.

Outstanding.

PS: You also got a guy whose nickname is “Miggy.” How cool is that? It’s not Mookie, but its not bad.
