LINDSAY LOHAN ARRESTED FOR RUN-IN WITH CURB
FITSNews - May 27, 2007 - Our pappies once told us that “nothing good happens after midnight,” but we always just assumed that sometime around 5:30 AM good things started happening again. Things like waking up. Or exercise. Or birds chirping. Or a cup of coffee and the morning newspaper. That’s why we naturally surmised that any headline including the terms “Lindsay Lohan,” “5:30 AM,” and “Sunset Boulevard” was probably just the paparazzi getting some good shots of our favorite popslut sweatin’ to the oldies during a brisk morning run.
Apparently, we live in a fantasy world because at 5:30 AM yesterday morning, Lohan wasn’t jogging or catching up on current events , she was instead getting arrested for speeding and suspicion of DUI after crashing her Mercedes on Sunset Boulevard, according to news reports. The actress, who isn’t even 21 yet, apparently struck a curb while driving her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 with two friends, neither of whom suffered any injuries. Police reports indicated that a “usable amount” of a drug tenatively identified as cocaine was found at the scene, and Lohan was arrested shortly thereafter at the hospital where she was being treated for minor injuries.
Nice work, detectives. Did any of you even stop for a minute to consider that the so-called “cocaine” was really baby powder? Or that Lohan and Co. were only speeding because they were late for volunteer diaper-changing duty at the local Babies-R-Us? Or that it might have been another carload of coked-out Hollywood party-goers (Paris Hilton, probably) that ran Lindsay and her good deed doers off the road? Because our guess is that’s what really happened.
