There are two schools of thought as it relates to this website’s relationship with political diva/ scion Kathryn Dennis. Some think our founding editor is sleeping with her … others believe he’s getting paid by her.
“Look at your comments,” we were told after referencing Dennis in a recent catch-all post. “People are begging you to stop.”

It’s actually disgusting and diminishes your reputation as even a halfway reputable news source. Keep your talents on politics where they belong. Not on some girl who is embarrassing herself.
That went away a while back when he began doing nothing but running rumors with no evidence, no follow up, and nothing ever became of them. The list is ridiculously long. This site has, for all intents and purposes, jumped the shark.

I couldn’t care less about this girl or her friends, but I find it interesting that those who say this blog has “gone downhill” or “jumped the shark” are obviously still reading it. And commenting on it.
We’re here because we’re hoping that this is just an oversight on Will’s part. But as time goes on and things don’t change many will jump ship and go over and read such insightful journalism on Brad Warthen’s blog. I mean where else can we read what a wonderful job Steve Benjamin is doing and how Vince Sheheen will become South Carolina’s Obama and fix all of our state’s problems.
