Winnsboro, South Carolina; September 16th, 2013 – Tonight at the regular monthly meeting of the Fairfield County Republican Party, members passed a 29-point resolution in favor of censuring South Carolina’s U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham. The yeas carried the evening with 82 percent of the vote. This reflects the continued frustration of many in the party with officials who are elected as Republicans and then seem to forget the platform of the party when they assume office.

“The Fairfield County Republican Party believes in traditional conservative Republican principles and we expect those who are elected as Republicans to vote like Republicans, not Democrats, and on these 29 issues Senator Graham voted with the Democrats” proclaimed Fairfield County Republican Chairman Kevin S. Thomas.

“We find his views and votes on these 29 issues to be unacceptable and as the Republican Primary approaches we are looking for a more conservative candidate to represent us in the United State Senate, someone who votes more like former Senator Jim DeMint than current Senator Lindsey Graham”.

Nearly every member of the Fairfield County GOP was in attendance and voted on this Censure Resolution. The members of the FCGOP hope that by taking this action, Senator Graham will realize those who are elected as Republicans can and will be held accountable for their actions. We know that a significant number of members of the South Carolina Republican Party across the state feel the same way, and we expect to see more actions, like we have taken, to continue at future county meetings.

A little light within the destructive darkness covering America. Between Graham and McCain turning traitors to the cause of our Constitution we need more Patriots to come forth and vote NO on mis-use of executive privilege taken by Obama.

I hate Graham. I am sick and tired of all of his bullshit lies and backstabbing. He needs to be thrown under a prison!
