Camden, SC – Sheheen for South Carolina today announced that it has raised more than $1.1 million and ended the third quarter with more than $1 million in the bank.

The campaign raised $565,507.67 in the third quarter from 1,103 contributors – 97.1 percent of whom live in South Carolina – with an average contribution of under $500.

The strong response from South Carolinians this quarter brings the campaign fundraising total to $1,176,822.57 since its start in April, with a total of $1,045,944.14 cash on hand.

“The outpouring of support for Vincent Sheheen’s vision to create jobs and build an economy from within South Carolina has been tremendous,” said Andrew Whalen, Sheheen for South Carolina Campaign Manager. “In just over five months our campaign has received more than a million dollars from hardworking South Carolinians. The people of South Carolina have had it with Nikki Haley’s failed leadership and her failed economic policies, which is why she has had to spend so much time raising money from out-of-state extremists — often on the taxpayers’ dime. South Carolina’s families and small businesses are ready for change and clearly embracing Vincent Sheheen’s plan for the future.”

The third quarter disclosure report has been filed and is now available online at www.ethics.sc.gov.

Hey Vinny, any truth to the persistent intel out there that if you don’t get more on board with and more vocal about the National Democratic Party’s socialist lines you won’t get any more money from their national contributors? Any truth to the persistent intel that if you don’t step up the support of Jean Toal to twist the knife in her back stabbing of Costa Pleicones that you won’t get State Democratic Party support? Grow a pair and do the right things, Vinny. That’s the only way we can get rid of Nikki.
