This website’s founding editor loves a good Twitter fight …

In fact he engaged in one (sort of) last week with Lowcountry, S.C. NAACP leader Joseph Darby … who surrendered the field just when things were starting to get interesting.

Anyway, one of Will Folks (a.k.a. Sic Willie’s) regular sparring partners on social media is Anton Gunn – a former University of South Carolina football star who did a brief stint in the S.C. House of Representatives.

Gunn’s latest job? Director of External Affairs for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). In that role, he is responsible for “cultivating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders for Secretary (Kathleen) Sebelius.”

As you might imagine, that’s a tough position to be in these days thanks to the colossally botched rollout of U.S. President Barack Obama’s socialized medicine law.

But Gunn – who calls himself #MrHealthCare on Twitter – is still aggressively defending the failed law on social media.

“Happy to educate on the #ACA,” Gunn wrote in one tweet.

Oh really?

Okay then, “Mr. Health Care.” We’ve got a few questions for you to “educate” us on …

First, whatever happened to that whole “if you like your health care plan, you can keep it” promise?

And what about that promise of lower premiums?

Also, do you think Obamacare is consistent with the president’s promise not to raise taxes on individuals making less than $250,000 a year?

You remember that “firm pledge,” right?

(Click to play)

Finally: Why the hell did taxpayers spend half a billion dollars on a website that doesn’t work?

Gunn recently tweeted about a so-called “Obamacare sabotage” effort … so we’re pretty sure he will dismiss these questions as part of that vast right wing conspiracy.

But we think they are common sense questions which go to the very heart of the credibility of this new law … and the liberal demagogue for which it is named.

Sick next time you get in a Twitter battle with @MrHealthCare, ask him what he thinks of the web site MyCancellation.com. Be sure to point out that, so far, cancellations are leading Obamacare enrollments 10,000 to 1.

Mr. HealthCare is what he calls himself. For real, Mr. HealthCare

For starters Health Care under AFC is not Healthy and no one really Cares. In fact the term Health Care has just knocked Military Intelligence out of first place as the number one oxymoron of all time

A more appropriate handle for Cockroach Gunn would be Mr. SkullFuck which is what a few millon people would like to do to him, his bitch boss and old Buck Farack

And I am guessing since these are Black folks (or whatever the racial slur of the day on this site is) that would be the reason for the “Yo -Bamacare” in the title? FITS you really ought to educate yourself or maybe actually be around some Black folks – trust me, they do not all talk like that. And don’t even bother telling me “I have lots of Black friends” . . . if you had any, you wouldn’t stir the race pot all the time on this site. Does it not ever get old or boring throwing out those rancid pieces of meat just to satisfy the yelping minions?

It’s good that he exposes the Libertarian TEA Party for what it is.
That the likes of Lee Bright and Tom Davis and Howard Rich and Ron Paul and the Kochs don’t even distance themselves demonstrates they don’t have a problem with it.

Racism goes both ways! Why do you think 95% of blacks voted for Obama?

It’ll be the same for T-bone. It’s truly is the case you two pots calling the kettle’s “black”.

Over and above ‘black’, I think they thought voting for a Democrat was voting for their own interests of having a better economic chance – I think they understand that Trickle Down was a scam and is why our wages have tanked and economy shrunk since Reagan – and protection of their rights.
If they didn’t know that before 2008, they know it after hearing what Romney/Ryan and the rest of the GOP think about them and the lengths they are willing to go to keep them from voting.
When people, many of the lower classes in the GOP and TEA Party, vote for ideology (of continuing cuts to taxes for the rich, for example) over policies that help them do better, they cut their own throats. And, just seem oblivious to it.
Government is people and about people. Ideology serves the purpose of the people who sponsor it.
When you can get beyond your issues surrounding race – get over black people, ignore ’em, quit worrying about what they ‘get’ ; they are less than 30% of the SC population and under 13% of the nation – and vote on issues that actually affect your life instead of how some the uber-rich funders of Super PACs and propaganda media tell you how to vote, you will be better off.

95% of blacks voting for a black candidate when a white is the opponent= Racism

SCBlues November 5, 2013 at 11:47 pm

90% of the Blacks voted for the Democratic candidate for Governor in Virginia today – and both candidates were white. Blacks vote for Democrats as they are not stupid enough to vote for Republicans. Suck on that for while, dumbass.

U have a problem with reality November 6, 2013 at 8:05 am

Fuck you racist. You are so damn stupid you can’t even understand that if they were give the choice of black they’d have voted for a black.

Seems to be a variety of stories nationwide. Some horrible, some supportive. Just got our company renewal info and while our out of pockets go up, the premiums remain about same. 2014 is going to be bumpy ride as the nation sorts out health care.

Robert, if your company has 50+ employees you received a reprieve for a year, just wait till next year. Imagine what the stories would be like if Obamacare was implemented as written.

SCBlues November 5, 2013 at 8:14 pm

You know absolutely nothing about what you speak – all you do is parrot the right-wing talking points over and over – most of them pure BS. You have absolutely no idea what the premiums for Robert’s company will do next year – you know nothing about his company other than what he told you – yet you fancy yourself some sort of soothsayer and make all sorts of unfounded claims and predictions about the ACA – probably because you heard the same old crap from Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh or got it from WorldNetDaily. Nothing but pure BS – don’t care how many times you say it. Pure BS.
