“LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD” IN A WORLD OF HURT …
Even before the near-collapse of a U.S.-backed regime in Iraq forced the administration of Barack Obama into all sorts of ridiculous foreign policy contortions – the “leader of the free world” had lost the support of his people.
According to a new NBC/ Wall Street Journal poll, only 37 percent of Americans approve of Obama’s handling of U.S. foreign policy – an all-time low in the survey. Conversely, 57 percent of Americans disapprove of Obama’s handling of foreign policy – an all-time high.
Ouch …
By a 44-30 percent margin, Americans also disapprove of Obama’s controversial prisoner exchange with the Taliban – a raw deal that resulted in several ranking terrorist leaders being returned to the wild (all so a former deserter could be “rescued”).
Overall, Obama’s approval rating is 41 percent – which is tied for an all-time low in this survey. Meanwhile a whopping 54 percent say he is “unable to lead the country and get the job done.”
“This is a bad poll for President Obama, and not a good poll for anybody else,” GOP pollster Bill McInturff said, noting that Republicans also fared poorly in the survey.
The NBC/ Wall Street Journal poll surveyed 1,000 adults nationwide between June 11-15. Its margin of error is plus or minus 3.1 percent.

Those numbers are meaningless from the perspective of the two major parties (and the TP as well, I suppose). Our idiotic electorate gripes and moans about aggregated politicians (parties, Congress, etc.), yet routinely sends the incumbents back at rates above 90%. Stoooooopid people.
