FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE SAYS VLADIMIR PUTIN RESPONSIBLE FOR TRAGEDY
Former U.S. Secretary of State/ Senator/ First Lady Hillary Clinton says Russian separatists shot down a Malaysia Airlines jet over Ukraine – and is holding Russian president Vladimir Putin responsible as a result.
“The Ukrainian government has been quick to blame it on terrorists, which is their name for the Russian insurgents,” the 2016 presidential frontrunner told Charlie Rose. “And there does seem to be some growing awareness that it probably had to be Russian insurgents.”
Wait … what?
“The equipment had to have come from Russia,” Clinton continued. “What more the Russians may or may not have done, we don’t know.”

As to her first point about the Ukrainian blame game, Clinton is referring to the unconstitutional Ukrainian government that was installed in the wake of a U.S.-led coup earlier this year. Our guess? They’ll blame the tragedy on whoever the United States intelligence community tells them to …
More to the point … do “Russian insurgents” really have the weaponry required to take down a jetliner cruising at 33,000 feet? And assuming they do, were they able to alter this plane’s flight path so as to put it so squarely in their sights?

Clinton was just getting warmed up, though, saying the incident required the United States to “put Putin on notice that he has gone too far and we are not going to stand idly by.”

The administration of Barack Obama didn’t expressly blame Russia for the tragedy, but its statement left little to the imagination.
“While we do not yet have all the facts, we do know that this incident occurred in the context of a crisis in Ukraine that is fuelled by Russian support for the separatists, including through arms, materiel and training,” the White House statement read.
